THE RUMOR

First story in the MARCO series

There’s a man in the village that everyone talks about.

His name is Marco. He’s about sixty, lives alone on the outskirts, and has carried a very specific reputation his whole life.

I’ve never confirmed it. Until tonight.

The storm caught us on the way. I offered him a ride home. We went in for a beer. The lights went out.

And in the darkness of his kitchen, years of quiet desire finally rose to the surface.

A sensory and intense story about two neighbors, a rumor that had been circulating for years, and the moment the line is finally crossed.

Perfect if you like mature men, contained desire, and stories where the darkness changes everything.
